Adrian Foster is an organist, composer, and sound artist based in Montréal, Québec. He is the co-founder and co-artistic director of Earth World Collaborative (www.earthworldcollaborative.com), a creative force generating new works of music, art, film, and literature through collaboration. He is actively involved with the collaborative as a composer, organist, and producer of immersive story concerts and film projects.

Adrian is dedicated to promoting and interpreting new music and exploring the sonic possibilities of pipe organs and modular synthesizers. In addition to his work with Earth World, recent and ongoing collaborations include projects with singer-songwriter Naghmeh Shafiei, Sound Rebellion collective, and composer and multidisciplinary artist André Pappathomas. He is currently developing an experimental modular pipe-organ, LIMINARE, in collaboration with organbuilder Alexander Ross, with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts. Adrian is the founder and curator of Montréal's first-ever organ series dedicated to hyperorgan sound creation, Les Vespérales de l’orgue du Sacré-Cœur, whose first edition will take place in August 2024.

Adrian has been involved in a wide range of projects as a composer, including electroacoustic compositions, soundtracks, liturgical projects, installations, and sound design. His compositions, which are inspired by ambient and minimalist sound worlds, have been featured in concerts and festivals in North America and Europe. He is published by Firehead Organ Works (www.fireheadorganworks.com).
